Here is a before & after of a family portrait since it is Family Portrait Month! A little sneak peek on how we finish your images here at Kristi Sheriff Photography. When I create a portrait for my clients, I want them to take home a piece of art for their home that will become treasured more and more as the years pass by. My vision starts with meeting my clients, chatting about a location, coming up with a color scheme and feel for the portrait. Of course all of our clients are great and so easy to photograph so that helps make my job super easy :)
In the images below, the first image you will see is SOOC (what we photographers call Straight Out Of The Camera). These images are okay with good posing, good lighting and good exposure, but they have not reached their full artistic potential at this point. So, we get to work in our magical digital darkroom and complete the vision. The last image is what I would consider a final image and then we print it big and beautifully to show off. Large images have so much impact! I love my job and my clients! Thanks to all who have let me express my vision of your family/wedding/senior/baby!
