I have had several requests to post the images I entered in the Professional Photographers' of America 2010 International Image Competition this year. All four images of mine were accepted into the General Collection and received a merit which classifies me as a Bronze Level Photographer of the Year. I feel pretty fortunate considering the level of competition. I would like to thank my clients who are the ones who allow me to create this art. You are the reason I am able to enter these competitions. Without you guys I would not be where I am today. So - THANK YOU my Beloved Clients!!!!

Woooooohooooo! I am going to be speaking for the Montana Professional Photographers Association on June 7th, 2010 in Seeley Lake, Montana. I am nervous and excited...mostly nervous about people listening to me go on and on about photography for five hours :) Hopefully they don't fall asleep. LOL. No, but seriously, I am honored that they selected me to come to speak. Hopefully someone can learn even just a few things from me because that would make my day. I love being able to help other photographers out when time allows. So, if you're interested, here is a screen shot of the info. We would love to have you. Or, just click HERE to get the scoop.
When Lisa called me to help her out with her Mrs. Idaho America pageant photos I was so excited for her and couldn't wait to take her photos. She is so beautiful and photogenic. Truly, she is like a walking beauty queen! I couldn't take a bad photo of this beauty if I tried my hardest. I'm so happy for her and would like to congratulate her on the recent awards she just won in the Mrs. Idaho America Pageant. She currently holds the title of Mrs. Pocatello, Idaho 2010. This was her first time entering the Mrs. Idaho America Pageant and she ended up as the 4th Runner up (in the top 5 baby)! Way to go! She also won the Photogenic contest! YES!!!!!! Not that I had anything to do with that, but it helps my reputation that's for sure :)
Here is the story about it if you want to take a peek: Lisa.
And, of course, here are the photos:
Look at those eyes and smile!!!!!
Her beautiful evening gown for the Pageant! Rawr!
You might be wondering if I fell off the face of the earth? It's been awhile since I posted, but I'm still here. I have been working like a madwoman behind the scenes getting my new studio space all put together but I'll save that for another post. But I have been neglecting my blog a bit. So sorry you faithful readers.
I've been dying for Spring to arrive! This bride's bouquet from a recent wedding made me totally feel like Spring has finally sprung! Enjoy.
Btw...I know you're probably wondering who did these lovely flowers????? It's Laura Rovig with Lemon Blossom Designs. Very, very Fresh.Clean.Sweet designs. Love them!
Meet Rhys. My sister had her third baby this week and they named him Rhys. He is such a sweet little guy. He sat/crouched/laid (whatever you want to call it) in this dug out tree stump of mine for over an hour for me to get this shot. I love him already :) I bought this prop over a year ago and have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to use it.
